A horribly evil idea would be to have a vehicle such as a land raider who's machine spirit has gone crazy as it is defending the body of the wounded marine. The players could of course blow it up, if they lack the weapons a trip to the ships armory might be quite a bit of fun. Alternatively the tech marine might be able to get on top of it and disable the machine spirit so they can use the vehicle in their escape.
Raiding a Space Hulk - need encounter ideas for vacumn

You know, it might be a good idea to make sure the enemies are mostly melee oriented, so that you can use the nasty effects of vacuum upon combustion to trash their day. Some Genestealers when your guns can't shoot really trash your day.
Erm... what effects of vacuum upon combustion? Given that you mean operation of firearms? Firearms work just fine is space given the right lubricants (ones that will still operate as a lubricant at the relevant temperatures).
Propellants (and indeed high explosives - propellants are usually low explosives) contain their own oxygen and don't need any from an external source. Bolt shells also have rockets, which also don't need air (because otherwise the Space Shuttle wouldn't work very well...). There's no reason why Marines can't use their normal weapons in vacuum.
