What is for a tyrant cruiser a good weapon configuration in terms of firepower;range;space and energy consumed? But when it is part of a fleet(along side with a raider and a grand cruiser)?

In Battlefleet Gothic the Tyrant is described as being armed with a mix of long- and mid-ranged plasma batteries; and it stat block shows it equipped with a Rng 30 (6), Str 6 battery and a Rng 45 (9) Str 4 battery on each broadside, as well as Prow Torpedoes. The closest approximation so far published for the long range batteries would be Sunsear lasers. We've not yet seen full Plasma broadsides. I would recommend the following:

  • Jovian-pattern Class 5 "Warcruiser" Drive to insure plenty of power.
  • Ryza-pattern Plasma Batteries , one to a side.
  • Sunsear-pattern Las-Broadsides , one to a side.

It doesn't quite match up to the BFG stats, but it's as close as one can get within the currently published materials. I'm hoping to see some more broadside Weapon Components in Battlefleet Koronus . I know we'll finally see Torpedoes and Nova Cannons; though sounds like Nova Cannon shells are going to likely follow acquisition rules akin to Atomics.
