What is broken in Deathwatch?

Out of curiousity, what the most commonly used house rules to limit the effectiveness of a Blood Angel Assault Marine with a tearing weapon, multiple attacks, flesh render and Blood Frenzy? Last session my Assault Marine did 133 damage in one hit using only a chainsword. And that's at rank 2. I shudder to think how much I could potentially do once I get to the rank needed to RF on a 8,9 or 10.

To be fair, it might very well have been that or a TPK at the hands of a inadvertently summoned Daemon Prince of Tzeentch (the Thousand Sons Sorcerer we were fighting screwed up on his perils of the warp roll and paid the ultimate price).

Also while we're talking on the subject of brokeness, what fixes would you recommend to the Apothercary career to make it more effective in combat? Personally I'm thinking earlier access to Flesh Render and Swift Attack.

Frenzy talent is gained by every Blood Angel on reaching 1st level of primarchs curse, not before. On side note u may enter frenzy unwillingly, more insane u are its easier. Each additional level of Black Rage have another upgrades to Frenzy but its also much more to fall into it, nasty when team play is badly needed.

Blood Frenzy Solo Ability, dont change: damage re-roll, bonus to penetration, bonus to damage, each step of improved RF dice change to additional dice of Tearing (roll 5d10 chose one, great chance for RF, after errata quite balanced).

Oh, I thought you just meant plural MG-34. Never even heard of the MG-34S. Seems to have been a competitor to the MG-42 which was never made in significant numbers?
