Well the title really says it all. I'm looking for an online campaign over video chat like Skype.
Looking for Online Campgaign
i have always wanted to know how one of these would work for dice rolling as you could say what ever you liked.
Video chat conferences. I'm sure there are IM modules that have the adjustable settings, such as what type of die you are rolling, etc. But I like seeing and hearing who I am playing with.
Yes i know what you mean as a GM its always good to see the look on you Players faces when you do something they are not expecting. Would love to try a online campgain but don't think i could put in the time with uin work, but if you find more people let me know and i see if it fits in with busy life

Either Online Die rollers (many available where you can plug in your name the die to be rolled and it shows the result.) or you have explicit trust in your GM and He/She does all the rolling, Tells you your result, and you Post accordingly in the cinematic text with the result.
The first is better for Larger games, typically a game run on a java or other chat program. Where the second is good for say small play by post or once a week skype small group campaigns.
I'm really interested in a Skype group to play Deathwatch, cus where I live there aren't that many people willing to roleplay...
Skype would only work with a group willing to pay $8 each for the group calls.
1 on 1 calls are free. Groups require a 'premium' subscription.
The $8 fee is only if you want to video conference chat. When I played WoW i would have like 3-4 ppl in the same call without ever having to pay.
