Is it possible to use the Walking Stick, or Gilded Compass, when also using a Riding Horse?

Bah! All these movement effects and whether they can stack does my head in! I wish we could get an official reponse to it all.

Movement effects = can of worms. If you have multiple "movement effects" possibilities, choose one at the start of each turn. If more movement effects can stack without problems (for example Flying Carpet "teleport on a 6" effect and the Sage's reroll effect), let'em stack.

Not really clean and elegant, but saves you from a lot of headaches and you still have an advantage from having many effects available.

I am also eager to learn other player's solution to this.

Many movement effects state that "you may ... after the die roll" the important thing here is that die is singular not plural so not when rolling two dice for movement (same as for death)
