HI, I just bought this game and are currently playing a single player game to get a hang of the rules. I got a mythos card (Disturbing the dead) that said that it was an activity at Rivertown Streets.

Does this mean that I am supposed to place a Activity marker at that location? If so, which of the three should I place? They have different numbers on them 1 - 3.

Is the ongoing effect only happen when someone is in this area (in this case areas surronded by purple) or is this place the only one that players can discard the rumor card?

Yes, you may certainly use one of the '3' chits, numbered 1-3 in the Rivertown streets. The reason you have three is due to the fact that you might have a Rumor (1) in the streets, while an Environment (Urban) card is in play somewhere else (2).

oh, and yes, Investigators need to resolve the Rumor in those streets identified on the card. In this case, Rivertown streets.
