If I enjoy Tide of Iron and A game of thrones is this game for me?

I play both Tide of iron and A game of thrones, is this game for me. What is the setup and play duration like?

I also enjoy Tide of Iron and thoroughly enjoyed Game of Thrones, both ccg and boardgame. If you are into the George R R Martins' books - The Song of Ice and Fire - then I would say that you would get more out of Battles of Westeros. The closest style of gameplay has to be Battlelore, but has enough changes to be classed a game in its own write. Its theme is battles between forces of cavalry, infantry and archers etc in a psuedo 'medieval' world with just the hint of 'fantasy' thrown in. Most present players are hopeing for more 'fantasy' to appear as the core set plus first 2 expansions really only have the 'direwolves' aspect from the books, although some commander powers do seem almost 'magical' in effect. Roll on the Dragons, Undead and more exotic factions, plus the addition of some real magic. If you enjoy 1 on 1 battles that are relatively quick and simple to play, but allow for a lot of tactical thought, and the background appeals to you, I would definitely say go for it! Cheers!

Totaly agree with Rashley :)

I kinda prefer having less fantasy in there anyways.

I have bothTide of Iron and Battle of Westeros and can thoroughly recommend the later. It's actually quite similar to the scenarios in Tide of Iron in the sense that there is a limited time frame to achieve set objectives which can result in fantastically close final turns - although in Battles of Westeros it is far more likely that units will be able to act more than once/turn than in Tide of Iron where only certain cards will let you pull this off.
