Are halflings disease resistant?

By Emirikol, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I can't remember, are halfings both disease and corruption resistant?

I dont think so. Remember on of the deseases from 2E was passed on to humans from halflings.

You mean from Halflings to Humans. Everybody knows they're just thieving little Typhoid Marys. Liber Mutatis says they have corruption resistance..but I couldn't find anythign on them for disease resistance.

From the WFRP chat at P&P games today: "A halfling on a stick makes a great tool for cleaning behind your fridge."

I remember reading in one of the winds of magic books that Halflings were corruption resistant, like dwarfs and elves. Of course that is irrelevant to the question at hand.

Perhaps if they had included Halflings in the Adventurers toolkit (like they said they were ), we would know...

I don't think they are disease resistant per se, but I think they are more resistant to getting sick from things they eat.

Also, in some variations of the material they get more fortune / luck than other races.

Maybe something like:

Fel 3 Ag 3

Can train resilience, ranged skill, or skullduggery at character creation.

+1 Fortune Point

+1 Defense

May make a Resilience check to ignore the effects of any poison or sickness caused by something they eat or drink.

And have a wound threshold of 7+Toughness
