What you dread

slipped past the FAQ announcement is two new cards for stark. those cards make the banning of the wildling agenda not mean a whole lot for stark

dreadfort is going to be a machine, plus its draw can go off in the marshalling phase unlike any other in house stark draw and most of its search. this replaces val in my stark deck for sure.

the attachment has the potiental to be brutal though i'm not sure if i use with icy catapult still around...the 1 gold difference might be too much to overcome for the advantageous.

I love the Dreadfort, one of my favorite cards in this cycle for sure. I'm really looking forward to making a House Bolton deck.

As for the Scourge, I'm always wary of putting 2 gold attachments into my decks. They have to have really strong effects for me to really even consider playing them. I'm going to try this one out, as I think it has the potential to be really strong. Any kind of repeatable removal has the potential to be crazy good.

i always loved the old dreadfort. response: after you play a character 3 str or higher from your hand, draw a card. very similar and i love it.

Yeah, I too am happy to see Stark getting more in-house draw. In fact, unlike some of the other trait-based mechanics, boltons seems like it's getting a sufficient amount of support to make the theme work. Draw is a big part of that.

As for the attachment, I think 2-cost attachments should be very strong. This effect is definitely good, but I'm not sure I'd play 3x in my deck. Makes it easier to win unopposed challenges though :)

But let us think of those advantages. For 1 extra gold and a slight limit of who you can attach it too, the Scourge has potential to get rid of a character every turn. There is no limit of targets like Icy Catapult and you get multiple uses. I am not saying that I would use all 3 but maybe 2 would fit into a Bolton deck. Plus the art looks amazing and I am always a like annoyed at Icy Catapult (How can a catapult not have the Siege trait?)

As for the Dreadfort, I love it. I am always in support for conditional draw like Fishmonger's Square and Storm Dancer. I am happy to see this updated remake of the original Dreafort. The addition of the House Bolton trait necessary to draw is Nedly. I also like that you get choices of when to trigger. Either after you marshal a character or after you gain one back. I really like the Bolton style, feel, and Nedliness for the game.

Oh, you don't have to choose - you don't need to actually kneel it to draw a card, it just sits there and you can go up to your draw cap with one succesful use of Roose.

I meant choose when you want to draw. You might want to draw during Marshalling for more characters or during the Challenge phase hoping for an event. I realize that you can use the Dreadfort to fill you draw cap. But thank you for the clarification
