And Rings still can't spell my last name right! lengua.gif

@rings: Err... had some kind of disconnect in my brain as I was writing that (must be all the quantum mechanics acting up). preocupado.gif

Meant to say:

"Limiting all of the agendas to uniques could have been a good solution, but that would have limited the game designers from making interesting unique Wildling characters further down the line."

...otherwise the argument doesn't really make sense. And yes, the reason I said that is because I like uniques quite a lot as well. :)

I don't think banning the big armies would have been an effective solution. The big armies became the poster-child for the problem, but honestly, 1-gold, 4-STR bicons/tricons with stealth are still extremely problematic. Orell and Mance with 4 STR and stealth for 1 gold are still too strong, especially considering they're neutral. As Drakey mentioned, the unique-only errata would just restrict what designers can print in the future.

Honestly, I don't mind a bunch of Wildlings with Stealth...it's kind of a cool thing to have. It seems much more Nedly to give all Wildlings stealth (uniques and non-uniques alike) but then make them cost an appropriate amount. In fact, 3 gold for 4 STR tricons with stealth seems just fine. The 7-STR armies are still going to cost 5 gold for a bicon with deadly, stealth, and a war crest...not exactly a bad card.

Skinchangers are pretty good as well - but I would rather spend the 1 gold for the +5 strength, Deadly, no attachments, War Crest, etc. gui%C3%B1o.gif But I see the point to be sure.

Not many people will spend 5 for them. They are not bad, but spending 5 on any card...~the card better have breast on it (not just a picture...real ones). gui%C3%B1o.gif They can be stolen, killed, knelt, etc. and I don't mind when that is 2 cost...but that hurts a lot more (well, 150% more) if I spend 5 for it.

~for me, a character with straightforward five cost (or two cost attachment, or three cost location) needs to say "you win the game" somewhere in bold print -- breasts wouldn't exactly hurt the card's case, either happy.gif
