Now that we have a FAQ for Tannhauser, I just wanted to create a thread where we can coordinate some of our questions / suggestions for the FAQ, something akin to the threads made for Descent, though I sincerely hope Tannhauser will not need to as in-depth of a process as that one! We can use the thread to evaluate what questions have already been asked, and also to post any official answers we get that may not be in the FAQ.

First, I'm curious what you guys think of questions that have clear answers in the rulebook, but do not make thematic sense, such as:

• Does Supernatural Strength apply to Ranged Attacks? Can I use Extra Ammunition with Hand-to-Hand attacks?

Do you feel we should ask these questions? Other questions in a similar vein that I've seen come up before:

• Can Zor'ka use Awakening when her Mental Pack (Presence) is chosen? If yes, how?
• Can Zerman target non-adjacent figures with Doom when he is on a smoke-filled space?
• Can the Brothers Bomb move backwards?

A couple of questions I plan to send along:

• After a figure is attacked by a model on Overwatch, can the defending figure make a Counterattack?
• Is Overwatch triggered by Counterattacks?

Finally, a couple of suggestions that I plan to submit:

• Addition of the previous ruling that Hand-to-Hand attacks can target adjacent figures on the other side of a door.
• Addition of full Smiljan Module text for those of us who only have a hard copy, which excludes this.

Any other questions you have asked or think we should ask? Any other previous rulings that we've received outside of the FAQ?

We'll I think you could send all of those for clarification. This thread could be usefull for amassing posibble FAQ questions to be posted via form.

Those all sound like good suggestions.

But I would like to say this, we've tried this before and it didn't work too well see here www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp , it's all the way on page 8 of the fourm now, things just slip of the main page too fast.

So unless you can get this made into a sticky post, I'm not sure how well it will work out.

True, this would be great to make sticky. Is there any form for that ?

There's the thread I was looking for... I remembered seeing a list of questions but could not find it - I looked back 5 pages and did a Google search. Looks like I was off by 3 pages! I wonder if we can get the two merged.

As for the possibility the thread will be lost, I think we might have better luck now that FFG is taking a more active stance on the game. Still, it's probably best if we can get a thread stickied, and I'm sure there's a way to request that; the Descent forums have stickied threads and even a subforum for the FAQ! Ideally, we would also have someone who would update the list of questions / issues as they were answered / resolved. Unfortunately, I do not have an edit button on these forums. Do you guys know if moderators have that option, and if so, are there any Tannhauser fans who are moderators that we could ask to help us out with that?
