Almanac Astrae Divinitus & Navis Prima

By Fortinbras, in Rogue Trader Rules Questions

Question 1: Does the Almanac Astrae Divinitus provide a bonus to Navigation (Warp)? The book says it provides a bonus to Navigation but it doesn't specify which. Or should I assume that means all 3 sub-groups? (Even Surface?!)

Question 2: The Navis Prima is a chart of warp routes, but it gives a +10 to Navigation (Stellar) and not Navigation (Warp)?

My guess would be someone got the Navis Prima and Almanac Astrae Divinitus mixed up at some point. I would think the NP should give the bonus to warp, and the AAD should give the bonus to stellar, possibly warp as well, but unlikely to help with surface (Though it might help you navigate by the stars like people do now, so maybe for all three. It is a step rarer than the Navis Prima). Yeah, I think the bonus would be to all three for the AAD

Notice that the Almanac is Extremely Rare, where as the Navis Primer is just Very Rare. I would say that the Navis Primer should cover Navigation (Warp) rather than Stellar, but otherwise the Almanac should be left as is (applying to all Navigation rolls taken where the output of the Almanac is relevant (so obviously not Surface, but it would apply to Stellar and Warp rolls (since the presence of stellar phenomenon do influence the tides of the warp)).
