AMAZING!! Thanks FFG for actually putting thought and care into this game. I was afraid this expansion was just going to be a way to get more of my money. THIS EXPANSION IS A MUST!!! After reading the rules, only added 2 more cards to the combat decks the rest are replacements to balance out old units...meaning everything should be balanced because less cards to have to test. I love heroes and how they act just like regular units with like one or two things that make them special. Thos things were what concerned me most about this expansion but now I am satisfied. I hope it gets more awards to add to the collection. =)

Yes, excellent interview, Frank, though I must admit I'd love to hear Corey say more about Middle Earth Quest in all its glory and epic-ness. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Well done. And the new expansion rules are terrific. I was frankly surprised to see them show up before the end of the year. A Christmas bonus!

Brood wars looks excellent, I was excited enough before reading the rules, but afterwards it just sounds excellent, can't wait to try it out.

I love this game and this expansion sounds sweeter by the minute. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

It sounds like a solid expansion that fixes a number of issues in the original game, and expands the number of ways you can play it. The leadership cards are a good move, I think, making the special victory conditions optional, or a matter of choice. I also like the idea of scenarios, but we have to see whether they don't constraint strategy too much. I am neutral on the heroes, we just have to see whether they are indeed special, or just another unit.

I'll get it for Christmas from my wife, yay
