In my gamming group we recently decided to try the AC RtLs. We have played the vanilla games a few times, we have even tried the SoB campiagn twice. Once because one member of the group moved, and the second because after setting up for the first lt battle we found out that the sea battles weren't even given a decent glance over. Our first sea map had us being required to get a 0 on the red die or teh current immediately crashed us into a rock, thus losing the fight before it even starts. Since our overlord has heard nothing really bad about RtL we decided to switch. After reading a lot of these forums I have realized that we have done a lot wrong including thinking that we should be clearing out dungeons, despite this, and I am probably making a mistake assuming this, I think that we were doing pretty well considering that we hit the Silver Campaign mark about 25 CT below the OL. I would like to get a good synopsis on the characters and the feats so that we can start this new campaign right. Fearing that what might have worked ok in the vanilla game doesn't pan out so well in the later game. Thanks in advance all!

You hit some obvious road bumps with Sea of Blood (not surprising based on other game play reviews I've read) but your first stab at RtL seems to be going pretty well (25 CT below the OL at the end of Copper is not bad.) I'd say just keep on trucking like you have been.

We haven't played RtL yet, that was the last Sea of Blood game that we tried. I apologize if I made that confusing
