WFRP Lite ? ? ?

By Oathwin Oakheart, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

For those who have the Warhammer Fantasy Player's Guide . . .

I see in the table of contents, that there is a section titled " WFRP Lite ".

Could someone shed some " light " on this section and tell me what it's all about.

Thanks.

It's not really a new system for not tracking stress/fatigue etc., it's about using a larger character sheet and your own tokens. It's "light on your pocket book" as opposed to "lite rules".

Here's what I've got in my book p.138-9:

It says that the bare essentials are:

WFRP players guide, the dice (or dice app), pencil and paper (and teh character sheet).

It talks about the character sheet and the action worksheet (don't know what that is though).

..

its basically 2 pages introduction how to play WFRP 3ed without cards etc. Like old times.

If you need specific data I can send you later this evening

Thanks so much for the replies . . .

This section is important to me, as my group will be playing " WFRP Lite ".

Looking forward to getting the books / dice and running a game.

Yes, and I hope you enjoy them, they use pencil to track things and in the end, many, many sheets where you have to copy down the action tables on each card. You don't have to copy them of course, but it would be hugely helpful.

I do think the system is easier to play with the components rather than the stack of character sheets that will be involved, but I'm glad you are coming on board. It is a great play experience.

The action worksheet is the page right after the Lite character sheet.

Any chance . . .

We will see FFG post the action work sheet and the 3 page character sheet for down load?

Thanks.

Yes, I'd really like to see the new character sheet become available for download.
