One of the BoM Cell Doctrines is "Sanction Warden".
In short, the Training enables the other members of the group to attack the psyker when s/he is about to cause a phenomena.
A reaction is spend for this. If the attack does damage, the whole psychic power is negatet AND there is no phenomena.
So far, so clear, so useable for all the littel puritans out there..and for the psyker players who end up with players whose pc tend
to shot him in the head for the slightest of phenomena..
The intersting point
(at least, to me!) is that these rules indicate that a psyker can be kept from using his powers if a sever distraction/interruption
of concentration (like... well, actual damage!) is applied at a crucial moment.
Taken a little further, this could enable one to stop an enemy psyker from using his powers if applied at this "crucial moment". Of course, the trick
would be to identify said crucial moment.
What do you think of this? Would you say that this is possible or would you say that one would need to be very familiar with said psyker (like his sanction wardens are) to be able to hit at the right moment?
