Seems it would make for a nice alternative Ultramarines Relic. How about a 2-Handed Great Weapon with Power Field quality for starters?

I'd rather see stats for the 'super macguffin crozius blast attack for great justice' instead...
I'm sure that sort of thing is completely in keeping with every description of a crozius ever written since 2nd edition...not.

Well, why not do all crozia? croziuses? whatever have to be alike? Character Models have access to special gear after all. But we can get that statted too. Seems to have had a hand flamer template attack, ignoring armour.

Well I was being facetious. However one thing that's very important to point out - no one wields a crozius except a chaplain. They are a chaplain's symbol of office. It would be like a Colonel wearing a Commissar's outfit. They wouldn't give them to people as gifts for great deeds and any space marine that found one would want to return it to its chapter of origin.
Basically, unless you're a chaplain no one is going to allow you use a crozius. If the watch captain saw you with a crozius he'd probably reprimand/excommunicate you for the outrage.
It's just not cricket man.

normal thunder hammer with master crafted upgrade, maybe sanctified.
and some great bonus vs plot armour, also -10 to intimidate tests for using lame quotes when wielding this thing...

I LOLd.

Come on didn't you want to kneel before Zod .. I mean Captain Severus. Seriously though I the lines were great. "We must be steel, we must be doom" Those are great lines coming from Terence Stamp. I mean we are watching a movie about 7 foot giants encased in power armor that can crush a hundred foes. If the substance is cheesy then just roll with it. I'm not by any means a marine fan boy but I though the movie rocked. I just overlooked the inconsistences like the crozius.

Well, I liked the first 5 minutes on the ship. As soon as they touched down planet-side, I thought the quality died off a bit - that's because their budget problems were apparent everywhere , including sparse landscapes, lack of charactes and scene reuse. It wasn't horrible as some say but the movie failed to let go of me after it has grabbed me in the beginning. Had some nice moments though.
Love the intro speech ("...on the fringes of the Imperium aliens lurk and plot... [...] All that stands in their way are the mighty Space Marines. They are more than mortal - they are steel and they are doom, they are the champions of Mankind...") and trainings duel scene though, including the scene seen through the IF's visor.
Oh and when the soundtrack gets released I am sure to buy it.
That said let's get back to the topic. How about this:
Warhammer (hope that one didn't get lost on any viewer) of Macragge, anyway:
Warhammer of Macragge
Damage 2d10+7 Pen 8 Power Field, Concussive, Unwieldy, Sanctified, Plot Armour Piercing(2)
Two-handed weapon. Due to being two-handed grants any wielder an additional level of Unnatural Strength for damage purposes. Counts as Master-Crafted (Damage already adjusted).
Plot Armour Piercing(X) Quality: Ignores Plot Armour of up to level X complete and is totally ineffective against all higher levels.
Acceptable?
Alex
a bit off topic
7 foot of emperor super soldier wearing power armour...
/rant
In my life i was having doubtful honor to be conscript in one of ex Warsaw Pact Armies. 2 wasted years playing PDF. And if Ultramarines training is on level as shown in movie and are still considered best of the best, sorry my old battalion i served in would conquer mcragge in 4 weeks top. (i know its only movie, and i will not even start on Black Legion Training level...)
/rant over
about cool boasting...
to cite Cyrus, Blood Ravens scout sergeant with emo haircut: keep boasting and blood will be ours.
besides anyone noticed how ugly that hammer was ?
Edit: ak-73, Alex, Plot Armour Piercing (2)? it should be totally level 4, it destroyed Deamon in like 3 hits! Also u should consider some rule that will explain why super agille ultra fast deamon that was able to jump celling wasn't able to dodge that thing...
Edit2: Plot Armour Piercing (x) should also have bonus rule that enemy cannot dodge hits from that weapon.
It's not just that the Ultras were pretty dumb (that may be forgiven for plot purposes to allow non-40K people to get into the story) but they were not exactly the paragons of Mankind. Jeez, Ultras -even Ultra scouts- have to act like role-models. Not really being the poster-children here. I doubt that those Marines would be even considered for training but rather sent home straight away. The Ultras have pretty much the finest recruiting basis in the Imperium (Space Wolves have a right to disagree).
Anyway, here:

Alex
omfg...
that equipment card...
LOL of my life.
Well, there you go:

Any thoughts on my interpretation?

It uses a power that isn't in any of the books in the Deathwatch line?
Wouldn't it be easier to use one of the psychic powers from the Deathwatch book?

Lol, none are powerful enough? But okay, point taken. I consider these 3 books a single RPG anyway.
Alex
Make it something similiar to A.Flamer or Hvy variant attack but with very cool arcane and psychic look and no AP protecting from it. Easy, Simple.
Well, one might consider it not being the Crozius but Chaplain himself manifesting some kind of Faith power....
Just saw the movie and I must say its entertaining and it was a good thing (for the plot) they didn't have a Librarian with them....or any marine with common sense...
Heresy !!!
Chaplins don't have psychic powers!
Chaplins dont have pure faith! (especialy IF ones, yellow ones still follow true path of BIG E!!! btw great joke, to turn greatest atheist into god)
Pure faith belongs to nuns with guns!
BURN!!!
(especialy as IF chaplin states that blast isn't ready yet, sugesting that its his Power club uncodex ability)
