I'm yet to play this game but...

Has anyone tried a 4 player game of 2 v 2 (good vs evil factions)? Not sure if this would work or how many Runes each 'team' would need to collect. Just a thought. I understand you wouldn't be able mix untis with your team member but you could use other stratergies such as discussing what order cards each will play etc and moving Runes to team members side of board etc.

I haven't tried it myself, but I imagine it would work fine. You could hash out some sort of joint victory condition or you could just say one of the four factions must get 6 runes (alone) even though the two good and two evil factions aren't fighting with each other. In general the added restriction that these two factions won't fight each other shouldn't impact game play all that much.
