I really hate this **** rulebook sometimes. It doesn't seem to explain a few of the rules about ranged combat. Table 30 on page 71 lists reload speed and Rate of Fire (RoF), but doesn't explain how they work. For instance, the reload for a repeating crossbow is 3. So... does that mean 3 rounds? And they don't even bother explaining what the numbers in RoF mean.

So, can you help me?

RoF is the maximum number of attacks you can make in one turn.

Actually, those rules are explained, but in another section, under the Combat section as ''Ranged Combat''.
