A Clash of Arms Chapter Packs part of LCG or CCG?

By JackT, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

I have a question concerning the Clash of Arms Chapter Packs (comprised of War of the Five Kings, Ancient Enemies, Sacred Bonds, Epic Battles,Battle of Ruby Ford, and Calling the Banners).

These Chapter Packs have the text "Collectible Card Game" on the box and also say "A Game of Thrones CCG starter set is required to play".

Yet the online catalog implies that these chapter packs are, in fact, part of the LCG.

If I am interested in the LCG, have I wasted my money on these chapter packs?

Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

A Clash of Arms is Legal for the LCG game all the way through.

They were released at a time when FFG had different plans for the transition from CCG to LCG so when A Clash of Arms came out they were part of the CCG> However when they made the abrupt change to LCG only they did include A Clash of Arms chapter packs so all those cards are legal.

Oh except for two, Pyromancers Cache and Jaqen H'ghar which are banned in Constructed or Standard LCG format or whatever its called officially now.

"Compelled By The Rock" is banned, too.
