Multiple Cargo Holds and Passenger Components

By HappyDaze, in Rogue Trader Rules Questions

Is it possible for a ship to have multiple types of holds - such as both a Cargo Hold and Lighter Bay along with a Compartmentalized Cargo Hold?

Is it possible for a ship to have multiples of the same type of hold - such as 2 x Main Cargo Hold?

I don't see any reason why not. If you want to build a dedicated Cargo ship, it is the way to go !

Without the book in front of me, I'm pretty sure you can have multiple cargo components, but you can't double up. On the other hand, my group has decided to completely ignore that, so I'd go with whatever feels best for your group.

On page 167 of "Into the Storm" we have the stats for an example ship, the Bounty of Scintilla. It has 2 Main Cargo Hold components fitted.

I'd say this makes it pretty official that you can buy multiple cargo hold components. Except for the fact that I've been told there are a couple of errors on the ships listed there, and this might be one of them.

Can't have multiple essentials, can have as many supplementals as you can cram in there. Using Cargo Holds as external ablative armour could be fun.

Additional Facilities are also limited to once per ship, as are Armour Plating, Armoured Prow, and the Tenebro-Maze. However, it does appear that you can stack on as many Augmented Retrothrusters as you can power...

It is. Over on power and under on space, if I figured it right
