Meat Eater

By MegaGeese, in UFS Rules Q & A

R Commit: Before you pay a momentum cost, you count as having already paid 1 momentum toward the cost.

If a player responds to the paying of a cost for something with 2 copies of Meat Eater, will it count as having paid 2 momentum or only 1?

It will count as having paid for two because you are using two different copies of Meat Eater, so their effects stack.

[but you can't create multiple copies]

Ah, okay. Wasn't sure if it counted as two, or if the effect would always be "you've 'paid' for one already, you ain't gettin' any more".

Alright now I have this to ask: If you play an attack with multiple whatever be it one, two, three and use meat eater do you still have the multiple effect or it doesn't count? meaning do you still get the multiples in your card pool? Also where's the tournament rules located cause I have some things to show my peoples.

As GouHadou said above, you can't use Meat Eater to generate multiple copies.

This is beacuse the multiple ability says that you place the discarded momentum into your card pool as a face down copy and if you use Meat Eater you don't actually have a discarded momentum to use.

And the TR are somewhere on the main UFS page, go to http://new.fantasyflightgames.com , follow the UFS link , and look around.

More precisely you CAN use meat eater before doing a multiple. However you will get one less multiple in your card pool. So if you use Multiple 3 and then R w/ Meat Eater, you'd count as having already paid one of momentum, would therefore only discard two and since you only discarded two, only two can be added to the card pool. TBH I can't think of a reason you would want to do it. But you can, if you want to be stupid.
