A couple of guys in our meta are thinking of holding an AGoT draft tournament, and I was hoping if some people could offer tips and advice how to organize it. We're willing to use CCG cards and we're willing to order CCG edition booster pack display sets in addition to CCG draft packs. I think I remember hearing there was a draft at GenCon. How was it organized? Did you have to use sealed packs or is there a way to organize open cards? Did you use LCG cards? Did only use certain CCG expansions? Was the format highlander? Any help is MUCH appreciated!
How do I host an AGoT Draft?

Look up the various cards on Dabbler and you can probably find suitable substitutes out of the Core Set and/or box sets. The idea behind the supplemented draft packs was for everyone to have 7 basic plots and some basic resources. Otherwise, draft would be a pretty lousy format.
As indicated in the rules, draft is pretty much the opposite of the highlander format. In fact, if you can draft more than 3x copies of a particular card, you can build them into your deck.
For draft that can include LCG cards, people have created the "draft cube" format. I'm sure people have cube lists they can share with you.
Just an aside that a cube draft list is very tough to make. Mine is 650 cards, other than 5 plots for each person all highlander so unique, approximately the same # of cards per faction (except Martell which just didn't have the card stock).
Also, regular drafts are kind of what you have on hand. I have a box with a ton of old boosters, I need to get them to GenCon this year to get used
