Red Viper (PotS) plus crown title effect

"The Red Viper does not kneel to attack an opponent who controls more characters than you"

Player A attacks player B with Red Viper. Player B controls more characters than Player A, so Red Viper does not kneel to attack. Then player B uses crown title to redirect the attack. Player C is the only legal target for Player A. Player C controls less (or the same number) characters than Player A.

Question: Does Red Viper kneel? Or is he already locked in the attack and only target changes without affecting attacking characters (kneeling Red Viper in this case)?

I would say Red Viper will not be kneel after the target changed to a less character controller.

But you may listen to other voice to confirm that.

The redirect comes after the characters are declared as attackers. So the attackers are already "locked in." You cannot, for example, go backwards and choose different attackers now that you are attacking a different player.

SInce the attackers have already been declared and TRV would only be knelt when you are declaring the attackers, you do not get to (or have to) go backwards and kneel him for the new defending player.
