Perhaps they should consider changing the title of the next expansion to this...

This is their very own website FCOL. Would it be so hard to post an official message apologizing for the delay and offering at least some sort of additional information? We haven't played TOI for at least a year now, simply because we want to see some new stuff! We're not the only ones judging by reading this forum. That cannot be good for the game. Sure we'll pick up where we left off, but in the meantime it's just nicer to play games that do offer new goodies and expansions on a regular basis (AAM, CoH, memoir 44 etc.). Especially the last example should be the benchmark for all other companies in this regard!

TOI is a really good game. It could be a great game if it was fleshed out a bit. But with the limited units and boards available there's only so much you can do before it gets boring. We played it for nearly 2 years straight as is so that's saying something. I'm sure it will still get pulled out once in a while and I still enjoy making scenarios for it.

Memoir......expansions. If they are like the Air expansion for that game, PLEASE consider Not publishing it!

I like the name of this thread. I pre-ordered this game. This was possible due to the announcement that this game would be relaesed on Sept.21. No message till then. I really like FFG. They produce good games, high qualitiy and reaseonable prices. But this is sh...... Like you said: It woul take a few minutes to just post an official message with what is going on. Even if they say: we don`t know yet, because blablabla.

I agree FFG should be more upfront with delays, especially for something like this. IIRC FOTB was suposted to have been out Gen Con 2009.
