Per the RAW, are multiple hits' damage (by full/burst auto fire), rolled individually (ie, each hit a new damage roll), or just roll damage once & apply it to all hits? I'm a bit confused.

You make an individual damage roll for each hit.

Yes, you roll damage for each hit, apply the weapons strength and penetration values for each one. It can become a bit of a number-crunching exercise in large battles with lots of people firing on full auto.

Though its quite acceptable to look at a pile of tens on the table and just say "yep. The cultist is dead."
