So I know that apprentice wizards get the channeling and spellcraft buy-in for free. What about petty magic? I haven't found anything the books to support it one way or another. I'm asking for two reasons. One, as mentioned, I don't know where it is in the book. I have the feeling I am overlooking it, with how *ahem* well the books are organized. As a second point, the FAQ says that priests get their lesser blessings for free, but no advanced skills, unlike wizards.

I appreciate any clarification that is given.

Nowhere in the Tome of Mysteries does it refer to what action cards the Apprentice Wizard starts with, however it does have the advanced skills acquired at character creation on pg 42. Starting action cards for both Apprentice Wizards, and Initiates are listed in the main WFRP Rulebook, pg 31, Step 4. Acquire Action Cards.

I think a better place to have this information would be on the back of the career cards, under the Special heading, but that's just my wacky opinion.
