Wild Philanthropist

I don't have the exact text in front of me, but the Wild Philanthropist lets you loan your power to the offensive player during the regroup phase. So my questions are,

1. Can a loan occur if the player has lost his power(s) due to too few home bases?

2. In a multiple power game would you loan one power, all powers, need to sacrifice one ship for each power you want to loan?

My guess:

1. No, you loan the alien card, and they can only use it if they can otherwise use it, just as they can still be zapped for it.

2. There are no official FFG rules for multiple powers, so I don't know how they'll do it. I think Eon used to say a zap applied to all powers of that player? Or no? You could go by that rule, if they treat it as one chimeran alien or separate aliens in collaboration. I think having your own multiple powers and then someone else's multiple powers would be way too much though, personally, so I'd just go with loaning one power.

Here's how we have played it:

1- If you have no power because of too few bases, you could not use the Philanthropist flare player's power.

2- If you lost your power from Cosmiz Zap, you COULD use Philanthropist flare player's power.

3- Cosmiz Zap would only nullify ONE power in a multipower game (he who plays the card chooses).

4- The flare would only let you share ONE of your alien powers, but you could choose the one to share.

Thanks for the extra opinions, that's how we played it the other night, but I wanted to make sure things were correct.
