Selling my Dark Heresy Collector Edition

By Crimson Guard, in Dark Heresy

Hi guys

It as a hard decision, but now I'm ready to sell my Collector Edition Dark Heresy rulebook, # 157/200, with his certificate of authenticity signed by Inquisitor "Fadec".

This tome is a total must-have, limited to 200 items sold in only 6 minutes !

It is in total mint condition, and I will take great care of the shipping and handling.

Please contact me in PM and make an offer.

The pics below are not of my own book, but those published by Black Industries at the time of selling. I can provide pics of my own book if needed.

Dark Heresy Collector Edition 1

Dark Heresy Collector Edition 2

Dark Heresy Collector Edition 3

Dark Heresy Collector Edition 4

Dark Heresy Collector Edition 5

For those who wonder why : I'm French, I now have the French edition of the rulebook, I have a 4 months old son and no job right now...

Thank you

I'm interested, though probably not at the price I've seen some go. I've no idea which range you are looking for. Drop me a pm if you want to talk.

Me as well, but give Eddie first shot.

I'm interested too. But obviously would like 3rd shot, and would like to know what price you're looking for...

(Congratulations on the baby! happy.gif)

EDIT: And can someone remind me how on earth we PM on this site?!

I too would be interested, assuming that shipping to the USA isn't a problem.

The last one I saw on ebay went for 80 GBP ($125 USD) on October 4 2010, http://cgi.ebay.ph/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290483407099

and google tells me a user on these boards "Cailieg" appeared to be willing to part with $500+ for a DH CE, 6 months ago here:

Above my price range, but keep me on your list of potential bidders.

It would round things out for my collection, but I am in a similar boat as yourself Thorn. At least, the jobless portion.

Ok, I have no idea how to send you a message using these forums. Contact me at [email protected] .

...and if you want to contact me, I'm at [email protected]

Why don't you put this on e-bay and save yourself alot of work and probably get a better price at the same time?

Oh, and am interested :)

Yeah, the last one on ebay got 80 GBP....

Hi guys

You're right, can't figure how to send PM either, but I got a Friendship request with some kind of PM in it so I guess that's all we can do.

I now realize that asking to contact me with an offer instead of putting it on eBay wasn't probably the best idea I could come with. Well, actually, preventing some eBay or Paypal fees seemed anything but wrong at the time I posted.

@ Lightbringer : thankya man !

@ Agent.0.Fortune : I can't access your ebay link, but $125 is clearly not what I'm looking for. Cailieg's offer is more on the kind of things I'm after, and is more like what I've seen here and there. (there for example http://webpages.charter.net/stevedamato/Inquistor_Tracking.pdf).

Let have this crystal clear : I know and can understand some people's bad feelings about early buyers reselling colector stuff at high price, but if it weren't for such high price, I wouldn't bother selling it. I am sort of a big GW collector myself and this book is a masterpiece (with a collector edition 4th ed. Warhammer 40k rulebook signed by contributor Jake Thornton I'd like to sell too*)

Well, if someone is willing to pay $800, please me an email to crimsonguard AT free.fr (****! the euro is too strong these days :( )

If not, just send your best offer and I'll choose the higher I got (or definitely consider put it on ebay).

Thank you everyone.

Crimson Guard

* the book. Not Jake ! ;D and just tell me if you're interested. I'll let it go around $150.

PS : I realize this forum isn't really the right place for such things, I'm sorry.

PS2 : I really need this money.

$800 is too high for me. But good luck and happy reading to whomever buys it.

You can do PMs but only with people who are your friends. Send a friendship invitation, have the other accept it and then you can choose that friend in your own profile and send them a PM which is effectively a message that FFG forwards to the other poster in email.

Alex

I doubt you'll see $800 for it, but you can always put up a reserve on an ebay auction to prevent it selling for less than the minimum you want for it.

'course, if your reserve is too high then it might not sell at all ...

I finally put it on ebay : item number : 230563195686

Good luck to you, sir! It will be interesting to see if you get any bids over such a high reserve, certainly too rich for me.

Well, you can still mail me at [email protected] if you still want to sell it.

The chances of you seeing $600+ for it is slim to none, especially around Christmas and in the current economic climate. I'd probably say that $200 or so would be the best you can hope for at the moment.

I find it hard to believe that the most you can get for it is $200. If that's the most you can get for it, hold onto it. Heck i'd buy it for $200 and I already have one, just on speculation that it's worth a lot more than that to the right person.

The last couple that have sold on eBay (during the summer, I think) only ended up going for about £120 or so. $200 isn't a bad estimate in that case.
