So I have been recently looking through Into the Storm, and I appears to me that a number of the alternate character classes in there are general enough to be used for Dark Heresy characters of higher level. The following I think are general enough to be used.

Acqusitionist: scum

Augmenticist: Any accept Techpriest, clerics, or psykers

Drusian Adherent: Any accept psyker,or techpriest

Flight Marshall: (maybe not) perhaps guardsman

Genetor: Techpriest

Gland Warrior: Assassin, Guardsman, Scum

Torchbearer: Cleric or Battle Sister

Xenographer: Any ????

Salcor

Acqusitionist: scum , Adept

Drusian Adherent: Any except techpries t; Psykers are just as likely to adhere strongly to the views of a patron saint, and are not as limited as Astropaths or Navigators in their diversity.

Flight Marshall: (maybe not) perhaps guardsman ; closest I can think of. It might not be a bad idea to open it up more, though not sure how.

Xenographer: Adept as they are the RT version of the Xeno-Archivist , more or less.

There's some feedback on the idea for you.

You could probably open Flight Marshall up to techpriests as well which would be interestings, but I could picture it.
