Patmos Amulet

By Henrythesecond, in Tannhauser

When using the Patmos Amulet, and assuming he is successful in the mental duel against his intended victim, can Heizinger select a Grenade as the weapon with which to attack the nearest character?

In the Revised rules, 'Counter Attack' section, the rules state that the use of a Grenade is an Action, not an Attack. Therefore, I'm assuming it applies to all types of Attack, in all situations.

How do you guys play it?

Cheers. Jay.

Definetly no grenade :)

I am just reading through all of these rules and I am glad this thread popped up.

To answer your initial question, though, he just gets an ATTACK, which using a grenade constitutes as THROW A GRENADE

Now to my issue

When I read the rules for tests and duels, the example gives the use of the Patmos Amulet, which causes the victim to go attack someone, just like you guys are referencing, but on my little quick sheet that came in the box that describes all the items, this says the Patmos Amulet just causes the to be overwhelmed with terror. It says nothing about attacking someone. Do I have an old quick sheet? If so, will FFG send me an updated one? Am I missing something out of the book? HALP

You guys can ignore my issue

On Hermann's character page, it says the stuff about attacking. The quick sheet is wrong

Are there newer quick sheets?

Nothing official - when FFG released its new rules, it did not include updated summary sheets. Here's a link with reference cards that Droesler made:

I haven't used these myself, but they look like they'd be quite useful if I had a color printer! =P
