Campaign play: Do you play both sides, or stick with one?

By Doc, the Weasel, in Battles of Westeros

Howdy,

I've been looking at this game recently and had a question about the campaign. I have played through Command and Colors, Battlelore, Battlecry, Memoir '44, etc. with a friend of mine, and in those the missions are often lopsided. This is dealt with by having each player play both sides, and then comparing the outcomes.

Is this how the campaign scenarios in BoW are, or are they "balanced?"

Also, do the BoW scenarios have the "victory point" based system that the previous games did?

I havenĀ“t play all the maps but the majoraty of them are balanced, but i do recomend to play at least 2 times the same map, one for each faction since the objectives for each are difrent and so are the tactics that you have to plan

So, answering directly to your question, you can stick with one or play both sides

Oh and yes ther is maps withe the victory point mechanic
