Okay first i must be the only one that no one from our party can understand how horde of things work. At first i thought you placed all 6 creatures. Then i noticed the or in the end and finally i have come to understand from mentioning in the forums that you have 3 options with the card giving you 2 extra monsters. That raises the question for me that this card is pretty much useless since her high cost (2 less than doom that is immersly better) makes her not worth playing since if you don't play it at area 1 it's not wort it and even if you do i mean what difference 2 more creatures will do since the heroes enter and kill everything anyway on every room since they get first strike.
P.S. I bet this has been talked alot but descent seems anti climatic since it is tougher in the beginning than in the end and since most quests end when the named monster is killed i have yet to seen a adventure last more than the round that the heroes open the door and slaughter the named monster. (including the weirdly for some reason tough quest 4 that the players won with only opening 2 rooms -they got lucky with the rune- and not even needing a gold treasure)
2nd) how does word of Vaal works? I get the idea that it deals damage on 3 squares from you to enemies but do you target someone with it?
Ex. You target a monster 5 blocks away and all your 3 block radius also get damage.
