Help with Orks

Hi this is my 1st post on this forums and was looking for help with making a Ork Warboss. Im just looking for any help ppl can give me in making this guy a big fight for my Kill-Team.

Creature's Anathema has orks in it. Get the PDF, take the big Nob in that book, give him Touched by the Fates trait (so he has Righteous Fury and Fate Points), put him in Mega Armour and go from there.

How difficult is it to convert the CA orks to DW hordes and elites? Is it worth picking up or should I wait till something similar comes along for DW? Is there something similar coming along for DW?

here is a quick and dirty Ork Warboss base that i made to make my chieftains, i hope this helps you :)

Biggest iz alwayz boss!: The Warboss tests his Strength characteristic instead of Fel (and used SB instead of FB to determine effect) on any Fel based check when dealing with other Orks

+30 strength (after unnatural strength) (Strength goes up to 89 with armor, SB 13)
+ 1 size (Massive for Warboss)
powered for 1d5 hours before refueling
Comes equipped with a Power Klaw
Can mount a ranged weapon on the arm.
Cannot Run
-20 to Agility, cannot Dodge
can be outfitted with Grenade Lobba on top of the armour
Bomb Lobba: Stikkbomb (2) (Thrown, 15m; S/-/-; 2d10+5 X; Pen 2; Blast (1), Special)
On a roll of 96-100, the Lobba arm gets stuck and the grenade detonates, destroying the lobba, scattering 1d5m and detonating the other stikkbomb (if not already launched) causing the grenade’s damaged to the Warboss’ head.


Kustom Shoota (Basic, 80m; S/3/10; 1d10+6 I ; Pen 1d10; Clip 40; Rld 2 Full; Inaccurate, Unreliable*)
can have to Kustom Bitz (choose 3)
Bigga Barrel: +10m to range
Bigga Klip: double the weapon’s Clip size
Kombi-Shoota: combine 2 Ork guns, if both are the same, weapon counts as Twin-linked, if they are different, follow rules for Combi-weapons
Kustom Job: weapon gains the Customized Quality.
Loudener: Suppressive Fire Action inflicts -10 to all Pinning Tests
More Shooty: +1 Dmg and Pen
Red Light: +10 to BS when shooting weapon with this Kustom Bit
Spikey Bitz: Ranged weapons with this upgrade count as an Unbalances sword in close combat (1d10+1 R; Unbalanced)

Can be equipped with the following
Boss Pole: +10 to all Command Tests made when interacting with other Orks
Iron Gob: +2 AP to the head (cumulative with other armor on the head) and +10 bonus to Intimidation Tests
Mounted Bomb lobba: Stikkbomb (2) (Thrown, 15m; S/-/-; 2d10+5 X; Pen 2; Blast (1))

Equipment: 2d10 Ork Teeth (teef), Shiny bitz, 20% chance of having an Attack Squig

Pretty sure most tings in Creature's Anathem can be directly converted to RT and DW, the ony major issue is Psy Powers.

As for Hordes, just the same as with critters in DWyou just add a magnitude rating and go.

make sure derz plenty ov 'iz boyz wiff 'im to make 'im 'ard an killy! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!! with a total possible soak of 32 in mega armor, he can weather bolter fire well enough, but he wont get into melee if hes the only target... remember that he cant run in mega armor ;) and trust me, you want those powerklaw hits :D
