Cylon Detector card question

By player1255380, in Battlestar Galactica

Yesterday we had the Broken Cylon Detector card come up and left it in play as specified on the card. A few turns later the Cylon Detector card came up. Thematically it seemed that we could not have broken something we had not yet invented, but we played that we could get a new Cylon Detector if we were willing to use up a nuke and then discard the Broken Detector card.

Thoughts?

I dont have the cards with me at work. Can you state the text on each card?

I don't have the cards handy either.

If I remember correctly the Broken Detector card states something like "No player may look at any other player's Loyalty cards for the rest of the game. Keep this card in play".

The Cylon Detector card says something like "Give up a nuke and the current player may look at one random Loyalty card from any player's hand".

The Detector Sabotage crisis just says "Keep this card in play. Players may not look at other players' Loyalty Cards." Even if you have not built the detector it will come into play. Probably because there are several other crises that allow one player to look at another loyalty card, plus Baltar has his built in detector. It's still rough to have that one come up early though.
