Ok, this is a shocking news but the polish publisher of Warhammer:Invasion shipped to the stores the polish version of the battle pack. So in many stores Czwarty Kamien Sciezki (that's the polish name for The Fourth Waystone) is avaliable from yesterday in 24h. Can anyone explain to me how is that possible? The was no US premiere of this battle pack and Galakta - the polish publisher - is selling it. And that's no pre-order!
The Fourth Waystone is avaliable in Poland, how's that possible?
The store where I regularly buy has it too (Germany).
You didn't seem to read these forums well enough to see my post with the Spoiler for The Fourth Waystone - it was out in stores on Tuesday, here in the USA. So I'm confused as to what the fuss is about?
I'd guess that the fuss is about the fact that we normally have to wait an extra 3-4 weeks before we see these cards outside the US. Generally battle pack's become available in the UK about a week before the next pack's out and I've got no reason to think that this one will be any different. Considering all the packs in a cycle are designed and printed well in advance there's really no excuse for not providing a simultaneous worldwide release.
So congratulations to Poland and Germany for being on the receiving end of decent customer service from FFG for once.
ChaosChild - don't get me wrong but only avaliable version is than in polish language and I don't like the translation - it's a disaster. So I have to wait for the english (original verion from FFG). If every thing goes wright I will get in 2 weeks according to my friendly store.
@Wytefang - yes, I did not see You topic. Thank that You always take time to publish on web list of cards form every battle pack.
That is strange indeed. What's more, as I remember translated polish version of starter pack hit stores when there had already been like 3 BPs of the english version released. Soon there will be fourth cycle in Germany and Poland while only third in the US. ![]()
But for real I think that these countries wich translate the game to their language may send complete cycles to retailers in order to cut distribution costs. That probably is against the policy of FFG. Only suspicion...
