Future Expansions

I cannot begin to say how much I love this game. While I never played 3rd edition, 2nd edition was a weekly tradition for most of my childhood. So when I read about 4th edition I jumped on the chance to get back into the game I loved so much growing up. And now with all of the expansions the games are awesome, to say the least.

I understand that everyone is talking about the next two board expansions being the city (which I actually enjoyed in 2nd edition) and the forest, which I assume is from 3rd edition and the logical choice for a board to sit oppoite the Highlands.

But in all honesty I think a cemetary expansion next to the graveyard would be pretty cool as well.

I was curious as to what others thought of this idea?

A cemetary expansion might be neat. I like the forest idea better, though. A cemetary would favor evil alignment (and if it didn't, I would wonder why not, since the graveyard causes good characters to lose lives), and I like the idea of the expansion opposite of the city being a wilderness, the opposite of civilization. And I just like sprites and elves better than vampires and ghouls.

There's been some discussion in my group what the elf's strength's are now that new characters like the Warlock, alchemist etc etc would be. He simply seems too weak competing against alot of the other characters in the game. Sure, he can avoids creatures in the woods and so on, but how often are we encountering those regions now that all the extra board expansions are out.

Would be cool if a forest expansion came (for same reasons described above), and if that would give the elf (which would be in his natural habitat) some extra advantages. Avoiding creatures, teleporting or something.

If I'm playing the Elf, I'm not even visiting the other regions, I'm bouncing Woods-Woods for as long as I can (until they get filled with Enemies too tough, Strangers or Places, thus denying me a draw).

having more board expansions than those from 3rd edition was a hope everybody had at the beginning of 4th edition. but the years run by and not even half of the 3rd ed stuff have been made in 3 years. now getting all of the 3rd edtition stuff has become a hope, not a reality. 3rd edition took one year for games workshop, 6 years for ffg !

if ffg replaces the forest with a cemetry i definitely throw all ffg stuff in the garbage including other games like runebound and descent. i would never ever hear the name of ffg.

i think a cemetary would be cooler that a forest but i never played any edition other than the revised 4th
