Working on a Chaos/DE/Undead Build

By Locusshifter, in Warhammer Invasion Deck Building

I've been working on a Chaos/Dark Elf/Undead idea and wanted some feedback.

Here's a link to it on deckbox:

Any thoughts, opinions, or suggestions are very welcome.

Just to update anyone that's interested in this build:

I haven't made any changes to it after 3 plays. it works amazingly well thus far.

Generally I'm finding I only put an Alliance in my quest (maybe two if I get them). Drawing one or two is sufficient.

Putting the Hars, Pens, and Fortresses in my Kingdom, and hitting the 6-7 gold mark (which is actually feasible by turn 3) is a key.

Certainly I doubt I have to explain how important the Wyvern/Cannon combo is, but the Horrors and Herald (and his wonderful +2 HP on defense) really help. Add in the Calls and Boils and you have a decent defense against orcs or dwarves; at least the heavy hitters.

Any reason you're using Evil Alliance instead of Chaos/DE Alliance? Do you only have one core set? If so, go two and one. Nine of your 17 resource generating supports are limited and two are unique. Chaos/DE Alliance adds more flexibility and speed.

If you use Wyverns, you should consider Shrine to Nurgle in your deck. It may allow you to ditch Word of Pain.

Festering Nurglings are better than Blue Horrors every day of the week(especially if you can give them necromancy), and even more so in a 60 card deck. Nurglings over Horrors also cements the already great decision to use the DE board with this deck(unless you put Shrines in, which makes it iffy again).

Drop the warp lightning, they just slow you down too much. Plus the undead are all about dieing and not carring, you do not want to invest attackments on them. And do not leave out the wright lord!

personaly I beleive in keeping the neautral races one color, as you want to minize the loyality issues.

Morgathies pegasus, although a decent unit, has too many loyality IMO for a allied deck.
