Multiple universes allowed in one deck?

By camelion357, in UFS Rules Q & A

This is probably a dumb question but can you have cards from different universes in the same deck. I.e., if you were running only Street Fighter characters could your deck also contain cards from Soulcaliber or Samari showdown sets, or can it only have Street Fighter cards in it?

Keeping the entire deck to one universe isn't a requirement. There is no problem with using Street Fighter cards with a Soul Calibur character, etc.

The only restrictions are:

1) Anything that says "Only" bolded is limited to be played only by the character mentioned. For example, a Ryu Only card can't be played by Morrigan.

2) During a turn, every card you play must share a resource symbol with your character (those are the circular designs in the middle of a card). More importantly, every card you play must also share the same resource symbol that every other card you have played shares with your character. Say your character has Air, Fire and Water. If your first card has both Air and Fire, then your next card must have EITHER Air or Fire or both. If the second card you played has Fire (and not Air), the third card MUST have Fire, even though your character has Air and Water as well. This is a resource chain.

(This reminds me: mods, can you sticky a copy of the current tournament rules so everyone can find them?)

Thanks a lot. I was hopeing that was the case.
