What can He calls it Thinking cancel and what can it not. I have always had the question of what exactly is a triggered response/response?

Also, bringing a card out of the shadows during the marshaling phase, do both players get their gold at the beginning of the phase and are able to bring one card out of the shadows?

Stealth. If your character is stealthed, are you allowed to give your character stealth in response to cancel your opponents. I.E. Lost Oasis
