Curious which day you play Illustrious, likely not able to join, but it's not the will that's lacking
Anyone interested in playing online?
If you guys are gaming on the weekends i could join you (GMT -8). If its weekdays, there is no chance. Let me know =)
Gitz
@Spivo We don't have any set schedule. We've only had three sessions so far, and generally we organise them on an ad hoc basis. I don't think any of us have particularly busy real life schedules, which helps. Our next session is planned for Tuesday at 6:30pm GMT. We may play on saturday as well, depending on the weather. Which time zone are you on?
@ Jesse Dude that would be awesome! As I said, there is a possibility we'll be able to play on saturday. Two of our three players have a party planned, but they won't be able to go if the UK weather doesn't relent (no signs as yet that it will).
If anyone has any questions, feel free to e-mail me ([email protected]).
ok just keep me informed so i can plan ahead.

Illustrious, if theres more room that GMT timeslot looks real good.
I'm sorta in Jay's campaign right now but it seems to be splitting up or something.
Either way I'm free for tuesday, and might be available for sunday as well.
I'd most likely play a Ratcatcher reskinned as illegal underground dogfights trainer.
I like the deep party roleplaying you have going on though do note that lately I'm really looking for an action fight and intend to make a bit combat heavy character.
Anyway care to divulge a few more technical details, are you using maptool, skype, something else?
I think Gitz is running my campaign this weekend. Sat/Sundays are tough this month, but as long as we have a GM to cover when I'm gone that's cool with me. At the new year, things will change again ![]()
Otherwise we'll see what those weeknights look like.

Hey guys... I was pointed to this from RPG.net, don't know why it didn't occur to me that this was the same group.
I'm in the EST (what is that, GMT -5 I think)? I'm pretty much unemployed for the winter (a seasonal business), so have pretty open availability other than Monday nights. If there's something brewing that fits I'd love to get in on it.
Is the voice communication for this? Otherwise setting up a voice chat server could be very nice and I wouldn't mind trying to play... I've been GMing for 20 years, so a change of pace would be wonderful ![]()
We use Skype (here in the GMT).
Are you a major league baseball player?

Why would you ask that?
Dudes,
UPDATE FOR THIS WEEKENDS 'GATHERING STORM CAMPAIGN'
I'll take over GMing the gathering storm for E as needed. I had indicated this Saturday would work, however my plans have changed and will be out of town on Saturday.
Instead, since the initial group which was spread accross the globe seems to need to split into two grousp which can better fit from a timing standpoint, I'll start running a West Coast (GMT -8) game picking up where we left off with the Gathering Storm.
This weekends game is postponed until next week/weekend.
I am going to start up a page on Gitzmans Gallery with a schedule and setup instructions for playing so we can coordinate when games are going on. E are you up for helping me figure out what we need to display and help get that Readme file up and running?
Gtiz
Skype works great for this stuff. Unlike Ventrillo, which requires push-button, skype can have everyone chime in as necessary. You just have to be careful on the amount of chatter going on (and if James is having one of his A-list celebrity parties in the background (sorry, James, I couldn't resist
.

Yes. The read-me could be simplified, but we can add stuff to it as necessary. For most noobs I think it still comes down to the big 4:
1. Download Maptool b76 and try it out (move tokens, etc)
2. Make sure your skype is working
3. Connect to a server and make sure it's working ahead of time
4. Try out the dice box (maybe download DLSS)
The rest of maptools is just so intuitive that it's an awesome way to game WFRP remotely! (not to mention that it's freeware).
Also, feel free to link up your site to the WFRP maptool campaign-discussion group. It may be easier than setting up an entirely new discussion group.

I updated the scheduling are of the Maptool playing WFRP online boards in case anyone wants to schedule games there:
forums.rptools.net/viewforum.php
Not sure if it's perfect, but its a start for people to do specific time regions (Americas or Europe-asia).
Also, I found a stack of WFRP campaign files that someone did up for TEW: forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php

If you are Ryan Zimmerman or Daniel Nava, please send me an autographed jersey.
Hey guys, can anyone take 10 minutes of his time to explain to me how this program runs and how to operate as a GM?
on PW, or maybe start some new topic etc.
@Skolo,
Shoot me an email, i'll help you get started. my email can be found at Gitzmans Gallery.
Also, check out the videos on www.RPtools.net which show you how to operate MapTools from a player and GM perspective. The forums there are also fantastic. Regarding the WFRP3 parts specifically, myself or Emerikol will have to help you get started since i have not incorporated a readme to the campaign files yet (though im trying to get there =).

Hey all,
Just a final reminder that I'm running a European gaming group at the moment, with the next meeting on Tuesday evening. If you're interested in joining in we probably have space for one or two more. The characters are a gang of thugs, and I have written up a story-arc which could well stretch to 15-20 sessions, so only people who can commit to a relatively regular schedule should apply.
Hey guys,
If there is anyone from Poland that needs to use Maptool - be my guest. I have translated it into polish. Its 90% done, so little of english is needed ofcourse ![]()
