By The Wizard, in Talisman

strength= 6 P Craft= 8 P Life= 8 P Fate= 7.5 P

1st. ability 1,5 P Well, it is always nice you don´t have to roll, but even without this ability, there´s still 50% chance that the outcome is ok.

2nd. ability 2,5 P Always nice to have a space or two where you´re safe from enemies and other characters

3th. ability 3,5 P Combined with the 2nd. ability, i think this is quite a good move that the elf can do.

Overall score: 37

strength= 4 P Craft= 8 P Life= 8 P Fate= 7.5 P

1st. ability 1.5 P It´s great to begin the game with two spells, but they can be good or bad, and it is only a one time use so...

2nd. ability 1,5 P Well, it is always nice you don´t have to roll, but even without this ability, there´s still 50% chance that the outcome is ok.

3th. ability 2,5 P It may not happen that often, but when it does, it´s just great happy.gif

4th. ability 4 P Just love this ability, and it surely increases the chance to get that 3 gold if there´s nothing else to pick up.

Overall score: 37

About the leprechaun.

I should rate his gold ability higher than his teleport ability.

He only gets teleport if he roll a 6,while the chances are higher if he lands on a woods space to gain gold.

Ancecdotally, I found that I land on the woods more often than get a 6, and not only can you be rolling in money, but you can tap the bank and make gold an even more precious commodity. I would rank that ability pretty high gui%C3%B1o.gif I was using teleport primarily to get away from other characters who could take stuff just by landing on me, or whisking through a side board to get to the boss muaha

I just love the teleport ability. It may not happen that often, but being able to skip an entire region, ( dungeon or highland ) or just to land anywhere else, is pretty awesome. But i think your guys are right about his gold ability, it is pretty awesome too, so i´ll give it another 1.5 P for a total of 4 ( Or is that to high?.) Giving the leprechaun an overall score of 38,5.

Gold ability would be nice, except Gold is still the most worthless resource in the game. Only useful when the Academy comes up. With 300+ cards in the Adventure deck, not going to happen every game Leprechaun is in. And even then, if I'm not the Leprechaun, I'll look to Obliterate/Destruction Academy away (ideally just after Leprechaun handed over his 30 Gold demonio.gif ).

I was the Leprechaun and the Academy was pulled! I paid 9 gold to miss 3 turns, but then realized after the first turn that my Warlock's Quest was to gain 1 Strength.... Then business was bad and all places closed up shop, boo. Was not meant to be.

Not to be cruel but imo this type of analysis and grading have very little significant on which char is the best. The way to do it imo is to keep track of all your games and which char's that wins the most under a longer period of time let say 6months and you can see a trend.

Me and my friends started doing this about 4months ago and the toplist looks like this: (we don't have dungeon or sacred pool)

Wizard: psycic combat + spell cycling (should have only had 1 of those skills imo)

Warrior: Very strong early + using 2 wepons is extremly good. But still well balanced with all casters there are.

Alchemeist: Imo totally imba skills and is climbing very fast in the ladder will probably go past warrior as soon if he get's more play. He should never have been able to alchemise magic objects for 3g that's what making him imba right now.

Prophetess: Well rounded good skills, a good char

The rest are pretty equal in wins.

Just thought that it would be funny to see which character i might think as being the best one. The skill rating is not based on how many players playing the game either, just how good i think they are overall. Futhermore i guess that you can win a game with every character, and as you draw your character random, you could play 500 games without being able to try playing them all. So this is just how useful, or the play value, i see in the different characters. If i rate a character high, it might not be the óne that gonna win the most, it´s just how much i like the character, and how good i think it is.

Best regards..

idk i think the dwarf is an excellant l8 game character but not usless in the beggining so he is my favorite piece without any expansions
