1....am i right, that for every two surge the OL gets in a roll, he gets one threat ...?
2...when the OL plays the DOOM card in silver level, does he recive a black power dice or a silver dice...?

1: yes you are. 2 surges = 1 treath tokens. The dark prayer skill of yours' Dark priest(if you have Altair of despair expansion) incrase that rate at 1 surge for 1 TT(but only for the Dark priest attack)
2: in Rtl DOOM add at all your monsters a black power dice. BUT if i've read correctly in this forum(and i'm pretty sure to have done) , you can choose to UPGRADE of 1 level your power dice, if your activated monster have at least 1 black power dice. So if a monster dont have power dice he will recive only the basic Black PD.

1. Only in attack rolls, and only if the attack isn't a miss (because of an X or because of range). No threat for attacks on empty spaces either.
2. A black power dice (or 1 upgrade of dice).
Edit: Too late. Oh well, one additional answer won't hurt.
not of course , and you have added the X rules on the surges i've forgott to mention so it's nice help !
Given this thread hit the topic on the head, I figured I'd ask my own questions for RtL...
1. Can the OL have multiple Lieutenants besieging the same city, and, if so, does that mean a city with sufficient tokens rolls 1 BPD for each Lieutenant besieging it?
2. The book isn't especially clear about the OL's Threat. I've operated under the assumption he resets his Threat after every dungeon. But can he still draw cards during his turn? (I know that sounds like an idiot question, but my players are a pernicious bunch at times).
3. Are treasures earned for a chest split amongst the party evenly, or is it a single treasure? The latter (which I'm sure is accurate, after having looked at the answered questions at the top), makes it, for once, easier on the OL, having to worry about less powered-up players, who are subsequently easier to kill.

1a) yes he can have multiple LT on the same city and use all of them to siege it. Every LT who choose to siege generate 1 siege token, so multiple LT means a quick siege. But Heroes can choose to fight them all but thats' another story
1b) NO you always trow 1 dice only. but , a specific plot card allow you to use 2 dice
2) At the began of every dungeon AND outside encounter the OL start to gain threat tokens. At the end of one or the others he lost ALL Threat and all OL card. (whit Ol card i means Doom destruction, summon beastman squad, pit trap and ecc. NOT Plot card, avatar upp grade and stuff)
3 Sorry for the OL but NO
EVERY treasure chest make roll for EACH player 1 power dice. the reward is equaly split.
If you have the Altair of despair, however, the OL can play the card "crushing blow" that destroied a transported treasure so he can balance the game cut some treasure out
The reason I asked that, is because (and the blasted quote-system will only let me quote it in the same thread), on the 'sticky but not a sticky' thread, it was posited:
"How many Treasures per Treasure roll?"
"Also, one Treasure per blank rolled. Not per hero. Campaign mode is more about making the most of your resources than Normal Mode is."
Unless I'm a fool for not reading the extra five pages attached and an alternate answer was given. X.x
In RtL when the heroes open a chest, they roll 4 power dice, and receive 1 treasure for each blank rolled. That means if they only roll a single blank, the party only gets a single treasure card. This is different from the vanilla quests where 1 treasure meant that each hero received a treasure card.
Jack and THE Hammer said:
Crushing blow doesn't target transported treasure, it merely destroys one item a hero is carrying (Overlord's choice) when he plays the card after making a succesfull attack on said hero. Maybe you're mistaken with Dark Relic, that card allows the Overlord to switch an unrevealed treasure card the heroes receive with a special Dark Relic card.

I am not entirely sure this is the correct answer, or what Ashyr was trying to ask. For example, you enter into a dungeon (Starfall Forest), on the first level you draw and play as normal. When the heroes go to the second level, all power cards remain in play, the OL retains his cards and threat generated from the first level. Same goes for the following levels.
On the next dungeon you explore (Thelsvan Highway), you start all over.
If your question is if the OL draws cards during the OL map portion of whichever week you are on, that is incorrect. You start every dungeon you explore with 3 cards.
I hope this answers your question.

That was something like what I was asking. The players, having read the rulebook with me, were confused as well, thinking the OL simply kept his threat, but never drew cards. We compromised, and I kept my threat, and abided by the three-card hand it starts with. Apart from hand size, the OL deals dungeons as normal.
-cackles- There, however, Kerrigan, was the answer I was looking for. If it's accurate, it makes that much more sense... so it'll be that much easier on me, the OL in that game. Thank you.
Probaly my personal knowledge of written english is not so good as i've supposed is to be.
@ Ashyr
About treasure and dice roll, i've means the same things that kerrigan after me have explain, probably i've choose the wrong terms to explain, but i was meaning the same stuff.
so, use Kerrigan version of it, because is more detailed and clear than mine
@Kerrigan
About Crushing blow:
No, i'm not confused. the card (my translated version of it after all) expressly say :.. it will destroing a treasure or an item shop transported by the target hero, if the attak has success.
For me, -and maybe that was my mistake-, "Carry and transport" are synonymus,so basicaly we are sayng the same things but i have choose a different word to explain it.
@Duhtch
about power card: this time i'm pretty sure to have specifyed "at the END of a dungeon or the END of an outside encounter", not at the end of a dungeon LEVEL.
the Ol keep his threat and his card, and power card was played rest in game between the level, since the END of the entire Dungeon(that was coposed(usualy) of 3 level)
Sorry for all this "@" quote, but quote tools dosent work so good in this forum XD

For what it's worth, carry and transport should be synonymous as far as I can tell. In game terms, "carried" means an item in the hero's possession, in hand or in pack. "Equipped" is the game term for stuff that's currently in a usable state (in hand for weapons, on belt for potions, worn for armor, etc.)
I don't have my CB card with me right now, so I can't double check if it says "carried" or "equipped" in English but assuming it does say carried, then what you said was technically correct, if a bit awkward linguistically.

Taken from RtL Rules.
"Hero and Overlord Growth
Unlike in the normal game, in the Advanced Campaign, heroes
retain their items and other upgrades between quests. Each
hero’s information is stored in his hero box between games.
The overlord can also gain new abilities over the course of the
Advanced Campaign. Treachery, Avatar Upgrades, and monster
upgrades can all be purchased and retained. Overlord power
cards, on the other hand, are discarded when the heroes
complete or retreat from the dungeon they were acquired in."
That is exactly what I said in my first post, "you start all over" when you go to a new dungeon. If you go to new levels of the dungeon, the OL keeps his cards, threat and power cards put into play.
I think this might just be a translating thing and Jack putting his words he wants into English. His rule interpretations are normally correct but hard to read.
Yes we are sayng the same things, but unfortulany, no, i've translated on my own.
i answer back to explain i was meaning the same concept you have say, but i've choose the wrong word to do that.
italin is a more complicated language and, when i'm tring to explain somethings in english, sometimes i made the mistake of "thinking " in italian first and translate than, instead of think immediatly all things in english.
anyway sorry for this, next time i'll try to make a more short and clear answer
