Hello, I just looked through my Dark Heresy books on the search for rules for the marks of the four chaos gods that many chaos space marines in the tabletop have and couldn't find any. Could anybody tell me if they exist and where I have to look? Thanks in advance.
Rules for Marks of Chaos?
Easy answer...Deathwatch Core book
Thanks a lot, I can't believe I missed them.

You might have missed them in DW because they are over ocmplicted and convoluted. (Personal Opinion Alert). Way too much to represent what in TT is +1 A or +1 T or +1I or a psionic power.

Personally, I dislike the broad-and-bland "Marks of Chaos" idea from the wargame; the gifts and influences of the Ruinous Powers are many and varied, and should not, IMO, be boiled down to a single, simple upgrade when the opportunity exists for more variation and diversity...
I quite like the Marks as presented in the DW core (hopefully the idea of Chaos Marines/Chapters and Marks will be expanded upon further in a later supplement).
After all, if you've sold your soul to the Dark Gods you would hope for a little more in return than simply +1T or an extra attack.

True. But I think a single talent or two would have been better. Easier, and more simplified. But to each their own.
I'm pretty partial to using something similar to the WH Fantasy Tome of Corruption (if you've got access to it), basically you get a mark and an all-sorts mix of freebie mutations endemic to that ruinous power's defining characteristics. Might take a tiny bit of fiddling to make them fit, but not much I've found, it mostly just slides together just fine.
Actually, there's a whole swathe of stuff I use in my DH games straight out of that book with a few minor adjustments to-suit, the mutation tables themselves are very good and worth buying for that reason alone.

That's right. When leafing through Creatures Anathema (I was especially interested in Orks and Eldar) I noticed that they just have a host of talents. As a GM I generally prefer it when an NPC doesn't have more than 4 or so talents to keep track of. The Lordsholm Genestealers from DW's Final Sanction work well enough for me.
Too many talents means that I'm likely to forget about one or the other or that I'd have to shift my attention from the fast flow of the game to memorizing all the special talents and bonuses, etc.

I guess I missed them because I still associate Deathwatch with alien hunters. I had it in the back of my head that there were chaos space marines in the core rulebook, but when I'm looking for chaos stuff (as far as I know the marks aren't CSM-exclusive) I go through the Dark Heresy books.

I'm always happy if the enemies in a game are similar to the PCs. It makes reverse-engineering so much easier.
