A Gangsters Loophole...

By Tyrant2, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Me and a couple of buddies were engaged in a game of Arkham Horror when we came across an apparent loophole. One of the investigators was Micheal Mcglen - The Gangster - with his Strong Body abilitie which allows him to ignore one stamina loss to him. Our ancient one was Rhan-Thegoth whoae attack recquires investigators to roll a die for each point of stamina, losing them on failures and keeping them on successes.

It seems like Micheal Mcglen is immortal against this ancient one. I was wondering if there was any errata on this subject or if he is indeed "Immortal" when facing ancient ones whom cause stamina loss with thier attacks?

Michael McGlen Strong Body reduces stamina loss by 1. Rhan-Tegoth attacks you once in a turn, so you suffer one stamina loss and therefore you can reduce this loss by one.

Soon after IH came out it was officially clarified that nothing can prevent loss from R-Ts attack.

Well, this makes Rhan-Tegoth a really tough guy.

Is arkhamhorrorwiki[dot]com considered as a good and legal site with card description and clarifications?

Actually, it was clarified before IH was released. Someone pointed out the potential problem when Rhan was revealed in a preview.
