I've got some questions to answer, can you help me?

1) Can a 'Death's Release' spell be used against Vampires? - As far as I know Vampires are not animated by magic, but I could be wrong.

2) Does a 'Death's Sight' spell work properly in the darkness? I mean, if darkness reduces a Wizard's line of sight while the spell is recharging?
