Another warlock quest question

By Drake Leonclaw, in Talisman Rules Questions

So is it an unwritten rule that says that warlock quests allow actions that normally aren't allowed in order to complete them? For instance, if someone draws the one that says Lose 2 turns, does that mean they can voluntarily not act for two turns to complete this quest? Or do they have to be affected by an event of some kind that forces them to miss 2 turns? Do these turns need to be consecutive?

Even the ones that say discard something, I didn't think you could just discard objects and gold outright. Unless they mean to "ditch" them, as in dropping them in your space, which I didn't think was the same thing as discarding. Or does "discard" an object mean you have to go somewhere, like the alchemist, to "legally" discard something like an object.

I know there are other threads talking about this, but they weren't really answering my questions from what I read.

1) If you got the lose 2 turns quest, then you must miss your next 2 turns. at the end of the 2th missed turn, you complete the quest.

2) If you got the discard a object quest, and you have at least 1 object, then you must discard it immediately, and then you complete the quest.

We've never played that the conditions must be triggered by a game event, but I can see how you would question that, we certainly did! Good question about the turns having to be consecutive, I would just assume that they would as any instance of missing 2 turns is done back to back.
