This is a long time now the french are waiting for this game.

Will you translate it ?

To be honest, I'm surprised to hear it hasn't been already. The game was initially released in 2005, so you'd think all foreign language editions would be out by now. If it hasn't been released in French yet, there's probably either a very complicated reason why not, or a very simple one.

However, taking a quick look at BGG there DO appear to be French translations of just about everything in the game. You could pick up an English copy (or any other language you can find) and use those references to play in French. Not ideal, I know, but I'd seriously question whether an official French version is coming at all if it hasn't been released yet.

Il m'a été répondu : "faut pas rêver".

Il semble que les commerciaux considèrent qu'il n'y a pas assez de public (clients) potentiel en France pour qu'une traduction soit envisageable (rentable).

Comme je n'ai pas trop de problème avec l'anglais, j'ai acheté le jeu (et ses deux extensions) mais il est clair qu'il n'est pas d'approche facile pour ceux qui ne lisent pas l'anglais.

This is an FFG forum, there is no officially required language as far as I know.

Though I for one prefer it when as many people as possible can read my posts. Which is why I use english instead of my native tounge Swedish.
