CTHULHU COMES TO SOUTH PARK!!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

MYSTERIONS TRUE IDENTITY IS REVEALED IN AN ALL-NEW SOUTH PARK ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 AT 10:00 P.M. ON COMEDY CENTRAL

The Coon comes face-to-face with Cthulhu in an all-new episode of South Park titled, Mysterion Rises, premiering on Wednesday, November 3 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Led by Mysterion, Coon and Friends are working together to help the people in the Gulf who are at the mercy of the dark lord, Cthulhu. The Coon, scorned by his fellow super heroes and now working alone, is out for revenge.

If you would like to see a construction-paper-animated Cthulhu attack an oil platform, as well as a few other tentacled blobs, please consult http://www.southparkstudios.com/

So those WERE Elder Things that I thought I saw! I'm not insane!

Well...not any more than usual...

Ugh... I hate two part episodes. Cthulhu was on the screen for like thirty seconds. Nice pronunciation at least.

He was in most of the second episode.

And moments before Brine's screen-grab, a recognizable mock-up of the Arkham Horror Board was seen hanging on the basement wall.

AH's first televised appearance...sniff...they grow up so fast...

Ha! I missed that.

Cool! boxes covers and the poster-board are pretty accurate, aren't they? Wondering whether the authors are devoted cultists too, or FFG has some really illuminated marketing agents...

In fact sounds more like a (n at least) three part episode.

Whoa:

I recently saw Totoro for the first time. This scene is definitely a spoof on that movie.

jgt, just because you were right doesn't mean you're not crazy gran_risa.gif .

Hmm, I don't seem to have part 2 yet. I wonder if it has to do with me being in Canada. I just moved here so I don't know how the rules work yet.

I think it has to do with the exchange rate gran_risa.gif

They put the other worlds on the wrong side of the board.

The three City Limits spaces and Terror track are also backward, so they basically mirrored it (intentionally, I assume).

Wow guys. Let's not become the World of Warcraft fans who dissected everything wrong with the WoW episode...

Being in anOtherState, you probably are delayed (unless you consciously passed the borders) and in any case, you do not receive movement points. So, I'm afraid, you won't be able to read books / tomes at all, and so on

(okay, maybe it's time for Julia to go to sleep)

You find yourself surrounded by creatures with beady little eyes and hideous flapping heads. Pass a Will (-2) check or lose 2 Sanity.

You can watch it on the South Park channel, which I usually find by going to Hulu first. Haven't seen it all yet, but looking forward to doing so.

No Hulu in Canada (or anywhere outside the US)

No, it redirects you to http://www.thecomedynetwork.ca/

Thanks though. They aired part two on Friday, so no worries.

So at what point in this story line is Cthulhu going to run for president?

Just saw part three. Not bad, but I was hoping for more cultists.
