We had a great time in the East Coast regionals in NYC, made some friends, saw some awesome decks, shared some fun prizes.
Anyone up for a Winter event? I'm thinking we can get the Compleat Strategist to sponsor, either NYC or Philly (they have stores in either place), maybe FFG would throw in a few baubles.

I am intrigued... If it is in Philly I'm there! If in NYC, possibly - depending on the specific day. And if school is out I can probably include my son.
Well, my daughter is college bound and wants to get a look at U Penn, so maybe over Winter Break we can set something up. I wonder if we'd get more than a few players in Philly?
I can probably drag in 5 players (including me) from my play group...
Any idea of timing? Winter break in Feb? Some holiday weekend in December? If you want to continue this off the board I'm at [email protected]
I'd be in for Philly with possibly 1 or 2 others. Not so much for NYC (we live in MD). A Saturday would be the best for us.
So when would be good? And Mike, do you really think it might be possible to work something out with FFG in terms of support? Even if it is paid support we could get the players to kick in some money to cover the cost of the prizes?
First, we can certainly get the Compleat Strategist to provide support, and maybe even a location ... otherwise we'll need to find a place to play and that usually involves expense.
Next, it sounds like 5 - 7 players already speaking up, some from NYC ( 2 - 4 more) and maybe a few others will join in, so it is worth going to FFG with the request. I'll contact Jaffer and Scott (or whoever is handling this kind of promotion nowadays) and see what we can do. Watch this space.

I would be interested, I just started but at the very least would like to lend support and an extra body to the event. Might be able to drag another person in pending how much time i have to introduce people to the game. I live in New Jersey right outside both of the tunnels and frequent compleat/nyc all the time
Hey, everyone! I just discovered the CoC game and would love to attend a Winter event. Sounds like it would be a great way to learn about the game, pick up some product, and meet other players.
I go to school in Waltham, MA, but my home is in NJ and can make it to a NYC event easily. Philly isn't as easy for me, and probably can't happen. I've been to the Compleat Strategist before, and could easily make the trip there to play.
Not that my schedule should be taken into account, but I'm home until Jan 16th now, and then I'm back again a week from Feb 20th - 27th. It sounds like I should be able to make the event!
I'm going to look around my area to see if I can find CoC at any of the local gaming/hobby shops, but I suppose the worst case scenario is I order online or make a trip into NYC to the Compleat Strategist, as it sounds like they stock the product.
Anyway, a Winter event sounds fantastic, and I hope to see everyone there in the near future!
